Here are my Irish Jack Russell Terriers, Buster & Daisy. They were born on July 9, 2011.
Daisy is prey-driven, lean, fast, and smart. She’s the alpha and we call her Sacajawea because she likes to be the scout whenever we walk in the woods. But at night, she’s very snuggly and wants nothing more than to cuddle in someone’s lap.
Buster is bigger, fluffier, and food-driven. He’s the goofy pack-guy who trots along beside his people (unless his sister entices him into trouble). He’s a complete drama queen about the vet’s and the groomer’s. We sometimes refer to him as the Cowardly Lion. Or Goober.
They are my constant companions, whether I’m walking on the beach…
Or in the woods…
or driving in the car…
or writing at my desk…
Sometimes we hang out at the dog park too.
And sometimes dogs, like writers, need a nap…
